AZ Meeting - Latino Student Success

Excelencia in Education, in cooperation with Maricopa Community Colleges, Arizona State University and Helios Education Foundation, is hosting an informational reception on Latino college completion and its positive impact on America’s future. Featured will be powerful collaborations between higher education and civic organizations and Excelencia’s new analysis about progress and the continuing need to accelerate Latino student success in higher education.

Celebración de Excelencia is an annual recognition event that gives national prominence to the year’s Examples of Excelencia and finalists by bringing together practitioner leaders with private, public, and philanthropic sector leadership. The Celebración is organized in cooperation with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in the nation’s capital in Washington, DC.

Accelerating Latino Student Success (ALASS) Institute

Accelerating Latino Student Success (ALASS) Institute is the meeting place for professionals leading effective strategies for Latino student success in higher education. At ALASS, attendees learn about and share evidence-based practices, strategies and resources that increase Latino degree completion at the community, associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels.
Attendees participate in forums for exchanging tactical information and promoting compelling, effective campus-based strategies for institutional leaders, administrators, and staff.
